HENRICO, Va., Jan. 22, 2024 — The County School Board of Henrico County, Virginia, will hold a town hall meeting Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Colonial Trail Elementary School. The meeting is open to the public and interested citizens are invited to attend and hear from Board members and other Henrico County Public Schools leaders. The meeting will feature a short presentation on the school division’s 2024 legislative priorities and Superintendent Amy Cashwell’s proposed budget for 2024-25. Attendees will have an opportunity to provide input on matters of importance.

The Board welcomed two new members in January — Madison Irving, Three Chopt District representative, and Ryan Young, Fairfield District representative. Other 2024 School Board members are Alicia Atkins, Varina District (chair); Marcie Shea, Tuckahoe District (vice chair); and Kristi Kinsella, Brookland District.
A second School Board Town Hall Meeting will be held April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Laburnum Elementary School, 500 Meriwether Ave. in Henrico.
