World Down Syndrome Day , March 21, is a global awareness day. This date was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down Syndrome.Tomorrow, let's all wear unique, colorful socks to show our support and awareness.
Maybeury students are such innovative learners! KG can show what they know by animating things in Chatterpix. 1st and 2nd love to use the green screen to bring their learning alive and into the classroom! 3rd graders finished their study of Rome then used Spheros to race chariots they'd built! 4th grade is working on filming stop motion historical scenes with mini green screens, re-enacting important moments from their VA Studies concepts! 5th grade has really enjoyed creating mosaics in Google, as well as collaborating to create a Google site filled with games and digital escape rooms to help them review for their big science SOL test! And all this is just what's been going on recently! What will these Mallards innovate next? 🤩💡
