YAY KARINA GARRIDO CORDOVA! Karina Garrido Cordova, an instructional assistant at the Advanced Career Education Center at Highland Springs, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at the ACE Center.
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Barbara Paul said: “Every day Ms. Cordova greets our students as they get off their buses with a smile and a cheerful ‘good morning!’ In the afternoons, she is there to say farewell to our students and encourage them to have a great day or weekend and to be safe until we see them again. Although this seems like such a small thing, it makes such a large impact on our students. She is someone in our building who’s always full of hope and positivity, and always willing to help out on various projects.”
