YAY CHRIS GEISEL! Chris Geisel, a math teacher at Quioccasin Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at the school.

Nominator Joseph Fountain said: "Mr. Geisel is a wonderful, smart, fun and caring teacher. He always helps me and others with various math problems we might not always know or understand. From the moment he helped me with a math equation, I knew he cared for his students. He always shows a positive attitude when working with students and staff. Whenever I see him he's always happy and upbeat, even during tough times. This might be his first year as a full-time teacher at QMS, but I can strongly say that he has absolutely nailed it!"
Jennifer Smith said: "His class is the reason my son wants to go to school. My son was struggling with his last test, and Mr. Geisel was able to explain it in a way he could understand. It helped raise his confidence."
