YAY MICHELLE SMITH! Michelle Y. Smith, a school nurse at Dumbarton Elementary School, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at the school.
 
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Heather Deihls said: “She goes above and beyond. I realized that we needed to change the timing of my child’s medication during the school day. My child’s doctor’s office usually takes weeks to return paperwork, and she took the initiative to help me get it returned from the doctor in a few hours. It made my week and improved my child’s first-week-of-school experience. She is simply outstanding!”
