YAY SABRINA BLUE! Sabrina Blue, a family and consumer sciences teacher at L. Douglas Wilder Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at the school.
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Evelyn Johnson said: "She makes sure that all of her students feel welcome to speak and learn in her room. In particular, I remember a time when she had a conversation about the students' learning and life experiences. She made them feel heard. She cares about students' well-being and education."
