Nominator Anna Lingerfelt said:

"She brings the FUN wherever she goes! She asked me to collaborate on a lesson for HCPS TV. The students are creating video games in Bloxels, so she suggested we dress like gamers and speak with a British accent the whole time. Why? 'Because school should be fun!'"

Beth Mayo said:

"She brings so much energy and creativity to our school, always finding ways to collaborate with teachers to help make learning fun for our students. She puts in countless hours volunteering her time to work with students, whether it’s a new club like Lego & Robotics, prepping our students with life skills for events outside of school like PrimeTimeRVA or bringing engaging lessons to the classroom. Nancy goes above and beyond to make learning a fun and enriching experience for our students."

Sara Anderson said:

"Mrs. Wallace supports everyone, and she makes school fun. She encouraged me to apply for a grant, and she jumped in to help me make my first STEAM night amazing. We collaborated on a sewing project that our fifth graders loved. She is a ray of sunshine and fun."

Thank you for all you do, Nancy Wallace, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
