Zoe Raeder, a junior in the Center for Allied Health and Human Services at Hermitage High School, has been named a 2025 Teen of Impact nominee with the American Heart Association!
In conjunction with National #WearRedDay, Zoe is kicking off her Teen of Impact campaign to raise funds and advance heart health in Central Virginia. Every dollar raised goes toward lifesaving research, CPR training and community health initiatives.
The nominee who raises the most funds will be named the 2025 Teen of Impact winner.
Zoe, who also in the nurse aide program at the ACE Center at Hermitage, is motivated by her lifelong passion to help others, as well as the devastating impact that heart attacks and strokes have had on her family. She's committed to raising awareness about prevention and the importance of knowing the signs and symptoms of heart disease and stroke.
She was nominated as a Teen of Impact by Sarah Hammonds, the director of the Center for Allied Health and Human Services.
