YAY BENJAMIN MILES! Benjamin Miles, a maintenance assistant at Mehfoud Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at Mehfoud.

"Mr. Miles makes a profound impact at Anthony P. Mehfoud Elementary School through his warm and welcoming presence. His kind and gentle spirit leaves a lasting impression on students, staff and community members alike. Visitors often ask for him by name, a testament to his memorable personality and the uplifting influence he brings to the school. Mr. Miles takes great pride in keeping the building clean and the grounds well-maintained, and it’s evident that his work is more than just a job — it’s a way to support and enhance the school environment. Since his arrival, his positive impact has been felt deeply, making him a valued member of the team.
"Sometimes a child just needs that one adult that will always speak to them, or even listen. Mr. Miles is that person for many of our students. He is a role model for many."
