YAY NOREEN HARRIS! Noreen Harris, a bus assistant with Transportation, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.
YAYWORTHY:
Nominator Darlene Fox, a bus driver, said:
"She is the most sweet, caring and patient person. She takes her time to speak, and sometimes she will have to sit with the kids when they are having a bad morning. She has been the best assistant I have had.
"We are a special education bus, and sometimes our little ones are just not willing to get on the bus cause they don’t want to go to school. Noreen will sit on the steps and talk to them and hold her hands out and after a few moments they will get on."
