The Henrico Virtual Academy is hosting an open house at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, for students and families to explore everything Henrico's virtual school has to offer.
HVA students range from kindergartners to high school seniors, and they all have one thing in common — the virtual learning environment puts them in the best position to succeed.
The Henrico Virtual Academy has recently celebrated its first two graduating classes, which held in-person commencement ceremonies for its 2023 and 2024 classes at J.R. Tucker High School. HVA students also supplement their virtual learning — featuring advanced curriculum and classes found throughout Henrico Schools — with engaging trips and experiences that grow their education and their connections to one another.
But don't just take it from us!
Join the open house next Tuesday via Teams at hcps.info/HVAOpenHouse to learn about the school, the schedule, course options and hear directly from our students about why HVA may be a great option for you.
The application window for the 2025-26 school year is Jan. 6-31, 2025, and any K-12 students in Henrico are able to apply. There are no prerequisites to apply — students and families are interviewed during the application process to ensure their success with the HVA.
