"He never fails to make his students feel welcomed. In the few weeks we’ve been in school, Mr. Young has brought back my love for English class, and I can’t thank him enough. He nominated me as student of the week at my school, and what he wrote about me gave me the motivation I needed to continue building my writing skills. I feel that it’s only right he gets the recognition he deserves. Mr. Young is more than a teacher: He’s a friend, mentor and overall amazing human being. His energy causes everyone else’s energy to shift in such a positive way. Mr. Young is the best!
"Mr. Young made me feel like the writer I knew I could be. He gives me creative liberty in my writings and has never judged me or any other student for their writings, opinions or beliefs. He’s made a huge impact on each and every one of his classes."
Thank you for all you do, Joshua Young, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
