YAY ALYSON BEVERLY! Alyson Beverly, a routing specialist with Pupil Transportation, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

Nominator Brian Fellows, the principal at Deep Run High School, said:
"Simply put, she is an absolute rock star who takes customer service and a focus on safety to the next level. She is the reason why many significant improvements have been made to the Deep Run Transportation Hub in the morning.
"She came up with an idea to have 140 students (who travel on a Hub Bus from Deep Run) picked up in the morning at the Twin Hickory Park & Recreation Center. In addition to having the idea, she made it happen by working with HCPS Transportation and Henrico Recreation & Parks. In previous years, Ms. Beverly would assist in the morning at Deep Run before her "regular" hours in the Transportation office. She recognized a problem, came up with the idea to solve it and implemented it with several agencies.
"After the first two days of school in the 24-25 school year, traffic improved and the bus departures were on time. The Deep Run safety and admin teams are so thankful for Ms. Beverly!"
