YAY BRENDA CARTER! Brenda Carter, a registrar who is retiring after 20 years at Tuckahoe Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her at TMS!

"Brenda is the epitome of a genuinely nice, caring, hardworking employee that every other employee hopes to have the honor of working with. Brenda is the person that, if you need help with anything, all you have to do is ask because it’s a 100% guarantee that she will say yes. She is also the person that you go to for comfort, because she just has this nurturing, grandmotherly way about her. She doesn’t just deserve the 'Yay of the Day' today, she deserves the 'Yay of the Day' every day!
"The students adore her, her coworkers adore her for her kindness. Brenda has worked for HCPS for 20 years and will be retiring this summer, but I’ve only had the pleasure of working with her since January 2022. Every day, without fail, Brenda has made me smile, and I am really going to miss her."
