YAY DAWN ZELLNER! Dawn Zellner, a school nurse RN with School Health Services, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently!

Nominator Robin Gilbert said,
"She deserves a Yay because of her dedication to the students and her profession as a nurse. Dawn handles Summer Academy and programs as the itinerate nurse — training, staffing and ensuring that the quality of care and safety of our students come first. "Dawn is a hands-on, team player. She was loved by her QMS team as a middle school clinic nurse and now passes that knowledge on to others in their clinics. She is quick to step in and help whether this be working a clinic, lending a hand or supporting morale. Dawn has stepped up as a leader in this summer itinerate nurse role, showing organizational skills, a wide range of excellent nursing skills and recently has become a certified school nurse."
