image of school is out - opportunity

HENRICO, Va., June 6, 2024 — The sun is out and, following the historic graduation ceremonies celebrating the Class of 2024 at the new Henrico Sports & Events Center, the 2023-24 school year is officially over. But as we shift gears from spring to summer, Henrico County Public Schools is still looking for new educators and support staff to make an impact on our students this fall and beyond.

HCPS is hosting a job fair Tuesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the HCPS Parham Road Office Building (1910 E. Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23228). The school division is seeking potential substitute teachers of all experience levels and availability. Whether you’re a young professional looking to support our schools for the first time or you’re a retired teacher who still wants to contribute, substitute teaching is for you. HCPS is also seeking candidates for custodial and maintenance staff, bus drivers, school nutrition staff, school nurses, instructional assistants and more.
