YAY MONICA WILLIAMS! Monica Williams, an office manager at Wilder Middle, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Wilder!

“Her warmth, kind nature and sense of humor is a blessing to the Wilder community. There are no words that can express how much her genuinely warm welcome means to the Wilder community when you enter the main office at Wilder Middle School.
"Monica Williams and the Wilder office staff create a warm, family feeling when entering the main office. The main office is the first impression that the public has of Wilder Middle School, and the warm welcome received from the office staff is golden. A team is only as strong as their leader, and Monica's warmth and genuine care for others helps set the tone for the environment that is felt in the main office. I have witnessed on several occasions how the office staff has defused an upset parent simply by greeting them with kindness, respect and compassion. This isn’t easy when someone isn’t treating you kindly, but Monica and the Wilder office staff make it look easy!"
