YAY STEVE AND GERI GREENJACK! Steve and Geri Greenjack, a married couple who serve as driver and assistant for an exceptional education bus, are today's "Yay of the Day" honorees! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored the couple recently!

“Steve and his wife, Geri, are affectionaltely nicknamed our bus grandpa and grandma. Mr. Steve and Mrs. Steve (as the kids call them) go above and beyond their duties and make sure every kid is loved, respected and important.
"When one of our kids is out sick, they'll call and make sure they are doing OK. They have brought ice cream for students absent with strep throat. They are genuinely happy to see the kids every day and make sure they know when they're on their team. When a child is upset, they doesn't hesitate to sit down and meet them where they are. There are too many positive impacts to list!"
