YAY MARY CATHERINE CAMPBELL! Mary Catherine Campbell, a music teacher at Seven Pines Elementary, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

“She has the ability to give young people an opportunity not many other elementary schools can provide. And she does it with such grace, eloquence and a dedication that is unmatched. Not only does she do this musically, but also with such a positive glow. It's hard to deny she is supremely special. She has a VERY special relationship with my daughter in particular and has raved about her so much that she has decided to continue down her musical path because of one person, Mrs. Campbell. And there is no telling how many other children she is doing and has done this for.
“She comes with a smile and an energy that is unmatched. She walks in a room and literally lights it up. That's not said with cliche undertones; it's the absolute truth. She is one of a kind, and not only do we appreciate what she does daily, everyone that comes in contact with her does too."
