Job-seekers could find the deal of a lifetime at Henrico County Public Schools’ inaugural “Career Mega Sale” March 26 at the Adult Education Center at Regency Mall. Representatives from HCPS and more than 50 other employers will be on hand at the division’s new 48,000-square-foot facility on the mall’s lower level. Some employers will be interviewing candidates and even extending offers at the event.

The school division’s Adult Education Center at Regency repurposes former mall storefronts as classrooms, meeting rooms and information centers where students can prepare for a variety of careers. The former storefronts are grouped around a common area where students can work on projects together or socialize. Because of the mall location, students will have opportunities to eat meals or shop before and after class. The innovative project was recognized in 2023 with awards from both the National Association of Counties and the Virginia Association of Counties.
