HENRICO, Va., March 7, 2024 — For another year, dozens of community organizations and businesses will gather to offer invaluable opportunities and resources to students in Henrico County Public Schools' special education programs.
The annual ExEd Expo, HCPS’ Exceptional Education Resource Fair, is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11, at Hermitage High School. More than 45 vendors will be in attendance to share insight about how our students with disabilities can thrive after graduating. This includes opportunities for post-secondary education, recreation and sports, military service, job coaching agencies, assistive technology and much more. The connections made at Monday's event can offer lifelong support for these students and their families.
Much like College and Career Night and the Life-Ready Expo, the ExEd Expo is another example of HCPS’ commitment to the “three E’s” for graduating students: enlisted, enrolled and/or employed.
This fair is free, and students of all ages, from pre-K to high school, are welcome to attend. Door prizes will also be offered throughout the night to attendees.
The event is hosted by the HCPS Department of Exceptional Education and the Department of Family and Community Engagement. For questions, call 804-652-3801 or email rmwood@henrico.k12.va.us.
