YAY EVAN CAMERON! Evan Cameron, a full-time board sub at Glen Allen Elementary, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at the school.

Principal Melissa Halquist-Pruden said,
“He's an angel in disguise! He is the most patient, flexible and loving educator I have met in my 30 years. He comes to my rescue as a principal daily jumping in wherever he's needed.
"He adjusts at a moments notice to varying situations, grade levels and student needs. He is dedicated to learning and attend all of our faculty meetings and PDs to ensure he is prepared to be the best teacher for our students. HIs dedication to our school community goes beyond the classroom. He is our mascot for various events, attends PTA functions and participates in our faculty fun events throughout the year."
