YAY JOSH BAKER! Josh Baker, an exceptional education teacher at Pocahontas Middle, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell recently honored him at the school.

Nominator Nadia Tuck said,
“Mr. Baker has an amazing ability to communicate with my special-needs son.
“My son was upset that the school day was over. He kept holding Mr. Baker's hand to try to bring him home with us. Mr. Baker was able to reassure him that there would be school the next day. He told our son that when he arrived the next day, Mr. Baker would be there. He was at the doors the next morning.”
