YAY RAELYN FINES! Raelyn Fines, art teacher at Glen Lea Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Glen Lea.

“Ms. Fines cares deeply about our school community, building deep relationships with every child so that they feel seen and heard. She is always helping, whether it’s dismissal, beautifying the halls or working out logistics. Just this week, she took the time to check in with all the teachers to ensure they had what they needed during the first two days of school. She also initiated supporting students in the lunchroom during any window of time she can find available, making sure that all of our new students had a welcome and warm experience their first few days here at Glen Lea.”
