YAY JAMIE GILBERT! Bus driver Jamie Gilbert is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

“She goes above and beyond! As a driver, you get early morning “attitudes” at pickup, and by drop-off you’re getting the grunt of the day. She does her job safely and so gracefully. You can tell she loves the kids on her route and in return they love and respect her back!
“My kindergartner had a rough start to the year. Change for him is really hard. Jamie worked with him to find a solution. We no longer have issues! I know without a doubt, she goes above and beyond for all her kids!”
Nominator Kristie Hertsch said:
“She is awesome and our favorite driver! She has driven both my babies. She makes them comfortable treats them like her own, which not only helps them but also makes it a lot easier on me. I know my babies are in good hands.”
