HENRICO, Va., Oct. 6, 2023 — Every week, Henrico County Public Schools takes time to celebrate the people in our schools who go above and beyond for our students with a “Yay of the Day!” HCPS, recently named one of Forbes’ 2023 Best-In-State Employers, is hosting two events where potential candidates can learn what makes a career with the school division “Yayworthy.”
Come to Twin Hickory Area Library Oct. 10 from 1-5 p.m. to talk to HCPS Human Resources representatives and learn about all of the open positions across the division. HCPS is seeking teachers, bus drivers, school security officers, school nutrition services staff and many other roles that are essential in serving our nearly 50,000 students.
Nov. 1 is the Fall 2023 Student Teacher Recruitment Event, which will inform current student teachers and interns about how to kick off their careers at HCPS, along with resume tips and best practices for pursuing teaching jobs. Prospective teachers can also ask our human resources team questions and hear about upcoming recruiting events. Register for this unique opportunity by Oct. 20 at hcps.info/FallRecruit2023.
