YAY JORDAN TRUDA! Jordan Truda, an associate principal at Glen Allen Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently.

“He is so kind and respectful toward kids. He waits for them every morning in front of the school and has such a positive smile and attitude. He treats everyone with respect! My son just started kindergarten. He had never attended school, but Mr. Truda made his transition very enjoyable. Also, I had some questions about transportation and other things, and he was on the top of the game. He was very responsive and had answers quickly. He is an awesome asset to Glen Allen Elementary School.
“He helps students adapt to school, with that positive smile when kids are having a hard time. He welcomes them each morning and knows their names — even though school has just started. My son talks about him 24/7. He talks to Mr. Truda as a teacher because he’s a kindergartner and doesn’t know the difference between a teacher and assistant principal. My son adores him. I’ve also seen him interact with other students and he is outstanding. He’s exactly what we need in our schools.”
