YAY GINA WAGNER! Gina Wagner, a language instructional educational program teacher at Chamberlayne and Seven Pines elementary schools, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

"Gina goes above and beyond to make every student and family feel welcome at our school. Previously a classroom teacher, Gina excels at linking multilingual families with their children's teachers and linking teachers with tips and strategies to help every learner succeed. Recently she sent staff members an article about the importance of saying students' names correctly and included a video of each of our English-language learners pronouncing their names correctly for us.”
