HENRICO, Va. Sept. 20, 2023 — Henrico County Public Schools’ Bridge Builders Academy workshop series explores topics of interest to Henrico families, while building connections throughout our community. The series is open to all residents, regardless of whether they have students enrolled in the school division.
Students, staff and members of the public can participate in the two virtual sessions using Microsoft Teams. More information about the workshops, as well as instructions and links for participating, are at the Bridge Builders Academy webpage. - “Highlighting Talent Development in Henrico County,” Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. (Glen Lea Elementary School, 3909 Austin Ave., Henrico, Va. 23222, and virtually at www.hcps.info/BBA)
- “Budgeting,” Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. (Adult Education Center at Regency, 1420 N. Parham Road, Henrico, Va. 23229)
- “Project SEARCH at St. Mary’s Hospital,” Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. (Oak Avenue Complex, 15 S. Oak Ave., Highland Springs, Va. 23075)
- “Taking Care of the Village — and Ourselves,” Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. (Oak Avenue Complex, 15 S. Oak Ave., Highland Springs, Va. 23075)
Each of the workshops in the series represents one of four “learning strands,” or categories. The learning strands are: Beyond the Classroom; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Exceptional Education; and Information, Access and Opportunities.
