Please join Henrico County Public Schools as we continue the conversation on supporting the mental health and wellness needs of our students. With a growing number of youth experiencing mental health challenges, it’s more important than ever to help foster mental health as a critical part of overall well-being.
The "Mental Health Matters: Family and Caregiver Workshop Series" begins Wednesday. At these monthly sessions, you can learn from mental health professionals — from HCPS and community organizations — on how to support students through whatever mental health hurdles they may be experiencing.
The first session, called "Signs of Suicide: What Parents and Caregivers Need to Know," coincides with National Suicide Prevention Month. Later workshops deal with topics of substance use, grief and anxiety.
All sessions are from 6-7 p.m. Join Virtually: www.hcps.info/MentalHealthMatters
