The County School Board of Henrico County, Virginia, will hold the following meetings:

4 p.m. Public Hearing to Solicit Input Related to a Resolution for the Conveyance of Surplus Property - 4.78± Acres at Mount Vernon Adult Education Center Located at 7850 Carousel Lane
The meetings will take place in the New Bridge Learning Center auditorium, 5915 Nine Mile Road, Henrico, Virginia. Closed sessions will be held during the work session as deemed necessary. School Board meetings are open to the public and interested citizens are invited to attend. Please note there will be no in-person public forum during the work session.
There are two ways to comment at the public hearing: in-person comments and written comments. The public hearing will start at 4 p.m. and in-person comments will be limited to input related to a Resolution for the Conveyance of Surplus Property - 4.78± Acres at Mount Vernon Adult Education Center located at 7850 Carousel Lane. Citizens may submit written comments for the public hearing in advance using an online form, which must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.
Citizens are invited to submit written comments about any topic, not just those listed on the agenda, using an online form, which must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, by going to the School Board webpage at https://henricoschools.us/school-board/ and clicking “Upcoming Meetings and Work Sessions.” Written comments using the online form and submitted within the deadline are an official part of the public record for the meeting and will be distributed to the Board members before the meeting and posted for public view in “BoardDocs,” where all meeting materials are archived.
