HENRICO COUNTY, Va., June 26, 2023 — Henrico County Public Schools and the Virginia Department of Health’s Richmond and Henrico Health Districts will hold four free walk-in vaccination clinics in June and July. HCPS middle and high school students can get free vaccinations at the clinics and no reservation is needed. Virginia requires students to be immunized against various illnesses for enrollment for the 2023-24 school year.
Depending on age and grade, students can visit the clinics to get vaccinated for tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, HPV and meningococcal virus. A parent or guardian must accompany participating students. Only students may be vaccinated at the four clinics. Please bring an ID and insurance information, if available.
Immunization restrictions and requirements for 2023-24 enrollment:
Meningococcal vaccine: The vaccine is required for students entering seventh and 12th grade. Only rising seventh and 12th grade students may receive vaccinations.
TDaP vaccine: The vaccine is required for students entering seventh grade. Students ages 11 or older may be vaccinated.
HPV vaccine: Students ages 11 or older may be vaccinated. The vaccine is not required for enrollment.

- June 27: 9 a.m. to noon, Henrico High School (302 Azalea Ave., Henrico, Va.)
- June 28: 9 a.m. to noon, Quioccasin Middle School (9400 Quioccasin Middle School, Henrico, Va.)
- July 18: 9 a.m. to noon, Fairfield Middle School (5121 Nine Mile Road, Henrico, Va.)
- July 19: 9 a.m. to noon, Douglas Freeman High School (8701 Three Chopt Road, Henrico, Va.)
