YAY ERIC BYERS! Eric Byers, the school division’s science specialist, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently.
YAYWORTHY: Nominator JoAna Smith said: “Eric deserves ‘Yay of the Day’ recognition because he goes above and beyond to support the schools and teachers in Henrico. He rearranged his schedule to support the science department, helping cover classes as well as arranging coverage when a teacher was hospitalized. Eric epitomizes the core values of intentional relationships and servant leadership. Not only does he support teachers with instructional help, he cares about the well-being of students and staff. He is creative and thinks outside the box for solutions. Eric is an asset to Henrico County and our community.”
