YAY JENNIFER MAZZA! Jennifer Mazza, a horticulture and landscape teacher at the Advanced Career Education Center at Hermitage, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at the school.

YAYWORTHY: Nominator Kaylynn Allison said: “She tries hard every day for her students and teaches them with extra care. When I was her student she always gave me the best advice!”

Nicole Marah said: “She deserves a Yay of the Day because of how hard she works with her students and instructional assistants to grow a lot of plants and sell them. She also helps other HCPS students learn how to grow plants. A specific example of a time she made a positive impact is when she helped our horticulture and landscaping students win a blue ribbon for the “Blue Jeans and Country Dreams” display at the state fair.

Thank you for all you do, Jennifer Mazza, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
