YAY HANNIBAL TUCK! Hannibal Tuck, assistant principal at Fairfield Middle School, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at the school.
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Cassie Johnson said: “Mr. Tuck is a great leader and passionate about his work. He loves making a positive impact on all the students in the school. You can find him talking with the kids about sports, encouraging them to do the right thing while at school and being available for students when they need him. He always has a smile on his face and is a great role model for the students at the school. He constantly seeks ways to make Fairfield a better school and provide students with opportunities to help keep them focused on school. You often find him using his own money to support a student who may need help. His dedication, commitment, leadership skills and passion to help the youth make Fairfield better every day!”
Rod Jones said: “Mr. Tuck is always going above and beyond to assist students and staff. He is always smiling and looking for ways to make the Fairfield community better. Mr. Tuck ensures that his students have what they need. He is known for spending his own money to make sure students have supplies, clothes and whatever else they need. He takes the time to listen to the students and helps with solutions. You can also find him walking the sidewalks, greeting students and making sure they are safe.”
