Community Service

Welcome to the HCPS Community Service page.  Here you can find the guidelines for community service and the parent information letter.  You can also find opportunities available to perform community service by looking at the menu bar at the top of this page.  However, the form needed to log hours can only be given to students by the community service leader at each school.  In order to receive this form, students need to first turn in a signed Parent Letter.

Community Service Resources

Community service guidelines for the 2024-2025 school year for both middle and high school can be found at the links below. Please remember that before logging hours you should sign and return your school's parent letter. This form will be either digital or in hard copy form depending on your student's school and can be received by contacting your school's community service lead (CSL). You can find a list of individuals serving in this role by school here.

Logging Hours

The process by which you will log hours will vary by school and program. Please be sure to consult with your school's community service lead prior to completing service when possible to ensure that you're logging hours correctly. If you do not do so, it is possible that your hours will not be counted. The paper log form for 2024-2025 can be found at the link below
