YAY RICK CATALANO! Rick Catalano, a chemistry teacher at Varina High School and Henrico Virtual Academy, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at Varina.

"Mr. Catalano goes above and beyond teaching chemistry to the 10th power, ensuring all five chemistry class students and parents clearly know what's expected each week and how to access all the help he makes available to achieve it.
"Mr. Catalano stays after school for his chemistry students until 6 p.m. most days. He also makes chemistry help available to students on weekends at Panera!"
