TCES Dive into Learning

Cougar Families and Visitors:

Welcome back to another exciting year at Three Chopt as we Dive into Learning while striving for excellence, supporting one another, and learning together.

The mission of Three Chopt Elementary School is to embrace each child as an individual, to foster lifelong learning, and to prepare each student to be a kind, caring, responsible contributor to society. We believe that each child is unique, and to develop this characteristic we provide a variety of social, emotional, and educational opportunities which encourage growth as well as prepare our students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators. Our students will be a part of a profound learning experience that develops not only their minds, but also their many talents. Our goal is to prepare our students to be #LifeReady as they move towards greater independence.

Being a part of the Three Chopt community, or family, as we call it, is a large part of our daily commitment to our students. One way to embrace this is through P.B.I.S. or Positive Behavior Incentive Program. P.B.I.S. is a process that focuses on improving the schools’ ability to teach and support positive behavior for all students. This process is aligned with our mission in preparing our students to be kind, caring, and responsible adults. As you enter our building this school year, you will see signs of this process throughout the school as it encourages common language and positive practices throughout the building with all students and stakeholders.

It is our belief that students benefit when school, parents, and community work together collaboratively. Our teachers are outstanding; our students are eager to learn; and our community is supportive and involved. We welcome your involvement with us in the education of every child here at Three Chopt.

We look forward to partnering with you to continue to make Three Chopt the best place for children to learn and develop to their highest potential.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Dana Baldacci, Principal
