Digital Citizenship: Digital Footprint and Identity
This week during Advisory students will learn about their digital footprint and identity online. This lesson is all about how their activity online leaves information about them out there in the world. Whenever they post something online (even if they delete it), it is out there forever. All online traffic- from social media posts to online purchases, emails to text messages, online banking to fitness trackers- can be at risk if they don’t take the right precautions. Throughout our digital citizenship curriculum, we are hoping to give students the skills they need to make wise choices to help protect themselves.
