Our 4th graders thoroughly enjoyed their field trip to the Presquile National Wildlife Refuge on the James River. This adventure supported their study of Virginia Natural Resources, which includes watersheds. Prior to their trip, the students enjoyed an engaging Nearpod that the James River Association educators created to review information about watersheds. The educators with the James River Association facilitated the field experience. Matt Scott, Senior Education Manager, and Emma Harrison, Environmental Educator, provided a wonderful program!
