Boo to bullying

What an exciting week at Rivers Edge! Today our school was full of orange to support our consistent pledge to BOO out Bullying. Along with this, our 4th grade hallways were decorated with pumpkins that students designed to look just like themselves. Everyone enjoyed trying to identify each student! During the morning, all hallways were filled with lively music as our 1st graders paraded in their book character costumes. We were very impressed with their designs and the fun books they were highlighting!

On Sunday, several of our Eagles participated in the Regency Mile. This is the largest timed youth road race in Richmond and is followed by a fun family fall festival. As has been true for the past several years, Rivers Edge had the largest number of participants which resulted in a $600 check being presented to our school. Mr. Rutman and Mrs. Salmon will put that money towards new PE equipment. Thank you to all students and families who participated in this great event!
