Plans for Summer Academy 2024 are well underway! Summer Academy 2024 offers a unique opportunity for our currently enrolled Pre-K to rising 5th-grade students. For HCPS families, selected learners can receive literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional learning interventions at no cost. Virtual learning will be offered to students currently enrolled in Henrico Virtual Academy. Reading and math activities will include whole-class instruction and small-group instruction to meet students’ individual needs. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and transportation from each elementary school will be provided.
Elementary Summer Academy learning is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 10, 2024, to July 18, 2024. Students can attend the entire six weeks or a three-week session from July 1, 2024, to July 18, 2024.
Elementary Summer Academy remediation invitations will be sent to parents the week of March 11, 2024. Elementary remediation is for current HCPS students only.
Option 1: 6-week session, June 10 - July 18, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Option 2: 3-week session, July 1 - July 18, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
