Engage in the evaluation of the HCPS gifted identification process and implement audit recommendations to increase diversity in gifted programming.
Objective:
Students will have LifeReady experiences during their educational careers that lead to college or career readiness.
Evidence:
With an eye toward continuous improvement, internal and external reviews of the HCPS gifted program were completed in the Fall of 2020. Audit results were used to strengthen the HCPS Pan for Gifted Education to address how and when students are identified for gifted services so that the program is more inclusive of all student subgroups.
