How will we communicate during HCPS\’ redistricting process?

Employees and families of students enrolled in Henrico County Public Schools can expect to receive updates in their email. We will email you each time there is a new, substantive development. We will also include redistricting updates in “The Binder,” an e-newsletter that goes out every two weeks during the school year.

The school division will also announce major developments in what are known as “media advisories” or “news releases,” which are received by the Richmond area’s local news media.

No redistricting proposals will be implemented without a great deal of public input and participation. Henrico Schools will share information about the planning process as it becomes available. Updates will be posted on this page throughout the entire process.
