As the year continues to get closer to our final week of school, we wanted to ensure our families have all the details about our 5th grade party, graduation, and Senior Clap Out. For the past 9 years, we have taken great pride in making sure our 5th grade seniors have a special last week experience, filled with celebrations and memories they will cherish forever. This is a time to reflect on their accomplishments and the friendships they've built during their time at Greenwood. We look forward to sharing these moments with you and your child as we send them off in style!

We’re so excited to celebrate our amazing 5th graders with a fun-filled party to wrap up their final year at Greenwood! We understand that many parents may not be able to take off work to attend, but we truly pride ourselves on opening our doors for families and offering opportunities for involvement when it fits your schedule. Please review the available slots below and click the button to sign up to support our 5th Grade Party on Wednesday, May 28 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Your help makes this special day possible, and we truly appreciate your time and enthusiasm in making it unforgettable for our students! 

We are so excited to celebrate our graduating 5th graders at our special ceremony beginning at 6:00 PM. Doors will open at 5:15 PM, and all guests will enter through the main entrance and go through our security scanners—please allow extra time for parking and check-in.   Our students will be performing five songs and will be recognized for their year-long achievements, as well as the clubs and teams they’ve participated in. We are honored to welcome the Dr. Debra Smith Scholarship recipient as our keynote speaker, who will share an inspiring message about the importance of shining your light beyond the walls of Greenwood. The ceremony typically concludes around 7:20 PM and will be held right here at Greenwood. No tickets or reserved seating are required. Students should dress to impress and will wear their house-colored graduation hat provided by their teacher. We can’t wait to celebrate this major milestone with you!

Join us for one of our most heartfelt traditions! 5th grade parents are invited to walk the halls with their graduating senior one last time at 8:00 AM, followed by our final school-wide pep rally at 8:30 AM in the gym. We’ll feature special performances from our morning clubs, recognize staff with fun awards, and celebrate our incredible 5th graders as they are officially crowned middle school students.  Get your tissues ready—this is always a moment to remember. The celebration typically wraps up by 9:45 AM. We encourage families to wear house colors and bring the energy as we send our seniors off in true Greenwood style!
