Yearbooks
Our Yearbooks have arrived and were sent home this past Friday. We have 36 left for $27 each. Get yours this Thursday, May 23 at 7:20 AM outside during morning drop-off. Incredible memories await!
Morning Club
This is our final week of 4th quarter morning clubs. We are very grateful to all our facilitators for volunteering their time to help our students discover and showcase their gifts and talents. Several clubs (Dance, Advanced Dance, Bucket Drumline, Advanced Drumline, Ballet, and Cheerleading) will perform on the final day of school, May 31, at our Moving Up Ceremony starting at 8:30 AM. Parents are welcome to join this final pep rally.
May 21: Greenwood Color Run at Shady Grove YMCA @ 5 PM (FREE Event)
Our Greenwood Gators will run the Shady Grove course at 5 PM while the YMCA and Greenwood Staff toss a safe, non-toxic color powder, creating a rainbow of fun! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
Friday, May 24: Mega Bowl/House Achievement, 2nd - 5th Grade
Prepare for the ultimate House Event of the year for our 2nd - 5th graders—The Mega Bowl! The schedule is as follows: 5th grade at 8:00 AM, 2nd grade at 8:30 AM, 4th grade at 9:00 AM, and 3rd grade at 9:30 AM. This is not open to parents.

Wednesday, May 29: House Cup Championship
We look forward to announcing our 2024 House Champion and hosting an amazing celebration from 1 - 1:45 PM. The event includes a Game Truck, bouncy houses, rock walls, DJ, and more! Our students have worked extremely hard throughout the year, earning house points by living their Gator Values. Thank you, parents, for being such amazing partners in our positive reward system and celebrating at home when your child earns a house point. Please know that we take house points very seriously at Greenwood, and our staff frequently meets to discuss their impact on our students.
Wednesday, May 29: 5th Grade Party
We are celebrating our 5th graders from 9:45 AM - 1:00 PM. Huge thanks to our planning committee for organizing such an amazing final event for our seniors. This class is very special to me personally, as I have been their principal since they were in kindergarten! Parents can volunteer for this event or follow their child's class around for the day.
Thursday, May 30: End of the Year Awards (PK - 4th) & 5th Grade Graduation

Please read the start times carefully below and note that parking will be difficult as we anticipate a high number of parents attending. Friday, May 31: Senior Clap Out
Several graduating high school seniors were unable to attend the Senior Clap Out in April. Therefore, we are hosting one more special moment for our alumni to walk the hallway from 8:00 - 8:15 AM at Greenwood. Parents of high school graduates are welcome to attend.
Friday, May 31 - Moving Up Assembly (Performances)
This is our final pep rally of the year and the assembly where we officially move our students to the next grade level. This assembly will be from 8:30 - 9:45 PM. The event will be packed with special announcements and recognitions. We also have six amazing performances lined up. Parents are invited to attend.
