All In Tutoring Reminders: 
We have only three dates remaining for our All In Tutoring program: April 9, April 11, and April 16.

Sunday, April 7 - BINGLOW 
Join Mr. Stein virtually for a warm welcome back to school after the spring break!  Get ready for an exciting round of BINGO where Mr. Stein will be awarding some house points! All students need is a piece of paper and a pen. The game kicks off at 7 PM and will last approximately 20 minutes. Monday, April 8 - Morning Clubs Begin 
Just a friendly reminder, all participants in morning clubs are expected to arrive at their designated club location no later than 7:25 AM. Our morning arrival process begins promptly at 7:10 AM to ensure that our car riders can make it to their clubs on time. A student will be withdrawn from a morning club if they miss two practices or receive a tier II/III discipline referral.

Tuesday, April 9 - Kindergarten Registration 
Thank you for assisting us in spreading the word about Kindergarten Registration, which will be held from 8 AM to 8 PM! Our kindergarten enrollment directly affects our total number of teachers for the 2024-2025 academic year, so please make every effort to register your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Christina Medico at cmmedico@henrico.k12.va.us.  

Registered KinderGators will have the opportunity to tour our building on April 19th or May 8th from 8:00 to 8:30 AM with a parent.  Additionally, on May 16th, all registered KinderGators are invited to participate in our Greenwood Voyage from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, where they will meet our kindergarten teachers and engage in various school activities.

Friday, April 12 - Field Day
All students are reminded to wear their house shirts for Field Day on Friday, April 12. We will be closely monitoring the weather throughout the week and will make a decision on Thursday if we need to reschedule due to rain. With an anticipated high level of parent volunteers, we greatly appreciate your prompt sign-up by Tuesday of this week. Friday, April 12 - Senior Clap Out 
We are thrilled to host our 8th annual Senior Clap Out, inviting our high school seniors to join us for a final walk down the halls of Greenwood, commencing at 9:45 AM. This special moment is open not only to our alumni, but also to their parents so bring your cameras!. We kindly request parents to arrive between 9:20 - 9:40 AM to ensure a prompt start to our memorable walk. At Greenwood, we embrace our unique traditions, so don’t be surprised if this walk evolves into something even more extraordinary. After all, it's field day at Greenwood! If your high school senior is unable to attend this senior clap-out, you are welcome to join us for the walk on Friday, May 31 at 8:00 AM. Your assistance in spreading the word is greatly appreciated, as many of our seniors may not only attend Glen Allen High School, and we want our entire Greenwood family to know they are warmly welcomed back to campus!  #family.

Saturday, April 13 - Family Kablowey @ 6:30 PM 
For Family Kablowey on Saturday, April 13th at 6:30 PM, bring your water balloons and join the fun! With 500 water balloons ready, we'll divide participants into three teams, and house points will be up for grabs in this exciting water balloon battle. This event aims to bring the community together in a spirit of unity and family.

Saturday, April 13 - Moonlight Bike Ride @ 7 PM 
Join us for the Moonlight Bike Ride on Saturday, April 13th at 7 PM! Bring your bike, scooters, and wagons for a memorable night ride around the bus loop. With glow sticks to light up the night, enjoy a refreshing 20-minute ride and don't forget your water bottle for hydration along the way. Alumni and community members are welcomed to come together for this enjoyable evening ride.

House Achievement Reminder - 4th Quarter - Battle of the Houses  on May 24
Thank you for collaborating with us to set goals for your child, aiming for fewer than 6 X’s on their green take-home folder to enable participation in our special field day event, Battle of the Houses, scheduled for May 24. Your partnership in supporting your child's behavior and ensuring completion of homework is pivotal for our school in achieving our end-of-year academic objectives.

Girl Scouts 
Girls and their families are invited to join us for fun, hands-on activities & to learn more about how to become members of the Girl Scouts!  Rising Kindergarten – 5th grade girls for the fall of 2024. Volunteers are needed to form new troops.
