Car Riders - Important Safety Update
Please CLICK HERE to read our safety changes effective immediately if your child is a car rider during arrival and/or dismissal.
Transportation Change Reminder
Please remember that all transportation changes must be made before 10:00 AM unless it’s an absolute emergency. Transportation changes should be made in writing and/or sent via email to three people including the homeroom teacher, Mrs. Jae at jtsjones@henrico.k12.va.us and Mrs. Christina at cmmedico@henrico.k12.va.us. We are currency receiving over 15+ transportation changes daily between 12 - 2:00 PM. This will no longer be continued as it is a safety concern.

Our Mr Snow Stein has sprouted snow feet! Thanks to our 2 new PTA members! 98 new members to go to hit our goal of 100 new members! It takes only a couple minutes to enroll and there are no volunteer time commitments! Sign up family, friends and students!
Teacher Luncheon - Please Sign Up
Our Sol Unity day is next week, December 21st! Sign up today to donate to our Staff luncheon! Sol’s means “SUN” in Spanish so please bring in your favorite Spanish/South American food to share with our amazing Greenwood staff.

All students participating in the Talent Show have their dress rehearsal from 2 - 3:30 PM in the gym. This is closed for parents.

Thursday, December 21: BIG DAY
Sol House Breakfast: 7:15 - 8:00 AM
All students and parents are welcome to join a special breakfast in the gym and cafeteria!
Sol Unity Day: 8:30 - 9:20 AM
Parents are invited to join our House Sol Unity Day pep rally in the gym. We have performance from Bucket Drumline, Fearless Chorus, Advanced Cheer, and ADL.
Greenwood Math 24 Tournament: 9:30 - 10:15 AM
This event is closed for parents. We will announce our top 8 Math 24 participants in grades 3rd - 5th at the end of the day.
Talent Show: 10:30 - 11:30 AM
Parents are welcomed to join our Talent Show in the gym. This will also be streamed into our classrooms.
Winter Party: 12:30 - 1:30 PM
Huge thanks to our parents for organizing a winter party/celebration. Room parents can enter the classrooms at 12:00 PM.
