Dear 4th Grade Families,
 
I hope this message finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news regarding a recent change in our daily routine at Greenwood.
 
This week, we initiated a new approach where students, upon arriving at school, report directly to their instructional block 1 teacher, rather than their homeroom teacher. We are thrilled to report that this adjustment has been met with great enthusiasm from both our dedicated educators and our eager learners.
 
This small yet impactful shift has allowed us to reclaim between 15-20 valuable instructional minutes each day. Not only has it proven to be more efficient, but it has also enabled us to eliminate two transitions, ultimately enhancing the overall learning experience for our students.
 
Based on this positive feedback and the clear benefits observed, we have decided to continue with this streamlined process moving forward. Rest assured, our students will still have the opportunity to enjoy meals and special activities with their beloved housemates. Likewise, our devoted room parents will continue to offer their invaluable support to their respective house homerooms. 
 
We want to express our sincere gratitude for your understanding and flexibility as we work together to create the best possible learning environment for our students. Thank you for being an integral part of the Greenwood community. We look forward to continuing this journey of growth and discovery with you and your child.
