Dear Greenwood Elementary School Community,
At Greenwood Elementary School, we hold a strong belief in the power of giving back and fostering a sense of community within our school. Each of our five houses has taken up the mantle of supporting a community service project for the year.
This year, we're proud to announce that House Sol has chosen to support Chesnut Grove Assisted Living, located at 9010 Woodman Rd, Richmond, VA 23228.
On Monday, October 30, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, students from House Sol will have the unique opportunity to visit the assisted living facility, accompanied by our dedicated Greenwood teachers and administrators. Together, we will organize a special Trunk or Treat event, where our students will have the joy of distributing candies to the residents.
This event promises to be a heartwarming experience for both our students and the residents, creating lasting memories and forging connections within our broader community.
